FMA AXIS-14 AN/PVS-14 NVG Bridge Mount
l The AN/PVS-14 is a highly classic night vision equipment that has been in development for over 25 years. It is currently the most widely used night vision equipment worldwide. However, the drawbacks of the PVS-14 are quite apparent. As a product designed 25 years ago, its installation and usage methods are not in line with the current popular night vision device mounts and adapters. Therefore, FMA has introduced two bridge mounts to allow this classic night vision device to be installed on the widely used WILCOX specification systems.
l The AXIS-14 is available in both monocular and binocular versions, and the connection method to the night vision device body still relies on a main fixed screw. However, the rear adapter plate is designed to be compatible with the most commonly used adapter plates, allowing direct installation on popular night vision device mounts such as L4G24, AKA2, and INVG. The mount itself has an angle adjustment function, increasing the range of motion for the night vision device. It is also extremely lightweight, with the monocular version weighing 20g and the binocular version weighing 50g.
l The binocular version of the AXIS mount can stably and securely hold two PVS-14 night vision devices, giving this classic night vision device the capability of a dual-tube night vision device like the PVS-31. It is well known that two monocular night vision devices offer better cost-effectiveness than a single binocular night vision device. Considering that this mount is used for the installation of precise and expensive night vision equipment, it is made of highly reliable reinforced nylon. Both the monocular and binocular versions ensure stability and secure installation of the equipment.
